Unusual Gold came into our rescue program on September 13, 2020. Unusual Gold came into our rescue program as an owner surrender. Unusual Gold is a Beautiful, Bay, Thoroughbred, Mare. Unusual Gold is estimated to be 5 years of age. Unusual Gold is a former race horse. We do not have her registration papers. Unusual Gold is a sweet girl and loves attention. Unusual Gold is extremely thin and will need to gain some additional weight before we can evaluate for adoption. She came to us with a severe bladder infection that we are treating and she is recovering well. Unusual Gold stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. She is going to make someone a super nice horse once she has rehabilitated. We will update as she improves. Please consider making a donation towards Unusual Gold's Rehabilitation.

Update December 2020 Unusual Gold is now seeking her forever, loving home to call her own. Unusual Gold is a sweet girl and loves attention. Unusual Gold is broke to ride! We do recommend some tune up time in a round pen or small enclosed area. Unusual Gold is a bit nervous when you first start to get in the saddle. With a little patience and work, she calms down and once you are in the saddle, she seems to relax a bit and does well under saddle. We would recommend an experienced to intermediate rider. She is a great horse and has a lot of potential. She needs someone to slowly work with her and get her comfortable being ridden. Unusual Gold stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Unusual Gold has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, dental, and hoof maintenance. Unusual Gold has been adopted to a wonderful family in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Unusual Gold is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in her forever, loving home. We are generally available BY APPOINTMENT Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and generally anytime Friday - Sunday BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
